Lescott moving to Manchester City

Well, after much speculation, I guess, Everton are finally letting go Lescott, to join Manchester City. I guess around for 25 Million Pounds. Manchester City, sure looked weak in the defence. I think he would prove to be a great player in the defence, but the question is what will Everton do without him ???

Please comment what you think?

Manchester united and Manchester city going for Arjen Robben

Well, since i have heard this i have been thinking, how is this possible? To me Robben the former chelsea player, has to be the key player for Real Madrid. But after reading this news. It's quite strange. Well, i don't know who else would they play instead of Robben. But Manchester United and Manchester City .. any of the two clubs who will capture Robben, will have so much power in their wings.

Manchester City hoping for Juan Riquelme

There are some unconfirmed reports that Manchester city is going to get Juan Riquelme from Boca Juniors. We all know what kind of player he is. THE awesome playmaker. Lets see what happens to this rumor.

Arsenal 4 - 1 Portsmouth

Arsenal continued their impressive start to the season with a resounding victory over struggling Portsmouth. And the most surprising part is having Diaby on the scoring sheet. and that too TWICE. awesome. it seems like arsenal are on a roll. and again arshavin was playing an awesome role. fabregas, might have been saved to get himself further injured.

But all in all, arsenal are putting out a great display of football. and i m looking at tough competition in the top four spots.

Wigan 0 - 5 Man Utd with Owen on the scoring sheet

It was a tough start. They weren't looking that great. But i guess it was the first goal, that broke the lock. Some lucky goal's i'd say, by Rooney and Berbatov. And they came a great goal by Owen. He is looking good now. The goal by nani's freekick was awesome as well.

For all three of his senior strikers to find the net will give Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson much satisfaction in wake of the criticism that followed Wednesday's shock loss at Turf Moor.

Sotirios Kyrgiakos signs for liverpool

Following the troubled defence line of liverpool, Greece defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos signed from AEK Athen this season.

The veteran signed a two-year-deal with the option of a further year, and in doing so ended Rafa Benitez's search for defensive cover following the departure of Sami Hyypia.

And guess what? the good news is he is already training, and can play on monday against aston villa. Here are some pictures.

Ancelotti wants to bring in Seedorf

Just got to know of this at Tribal Football, that Chelsea is looking to get the AC Milan veteran Seedorf, that i think would be a total mistake. No disrespect for Seedorf, he is a great footballer, but i don't think such players would be able to cope with the pace of english premier league. Rather I would suggest bring in a striker or a winger, and that took young. I heard that Chelsea is going to try for Sergio Aguero. Lets see what happens in that regard.

Liverpool lost to Tottenham

Again, a bad start to the season. And I guess its been like this for the past 20 years or so. Benitez is complaining, and rightly so because Liverpool delivered a lame display which lacked attacking invention and genuine quality. There were a number of penalty calls. One of them worked out for Liverpool. But scoring on a penalty is not enough.

On the other hand Tottenham, played pretty well for their standards. The new player they called in actually worked for them. Proved lucky.

I hate to admit but, yes the gel that held together the Liverpool depth to its strikers, that is Xabi Alonso, is gone now. and it showed. there was NO cohesion.

Please share your reviews where. Tell us what you think.

Aquilani coming to Liverpool

Finally, since the confirmation of the sale of Xabi Alonso, one good news. It was being speculated that Aquilani will be replacing Alonso after his move to Real Madrid. Now, i have read from a different sources, that the deal has been agreed upon, and the prices seems to in the range of 18 mil to 20 mil pounds... I am not sure, if he is worth this much. What do you guys think? Comment please.

I am totally looking forward to having him at Anfield. Heard he is fast. and reach places, that require covering.

Just wanna see great football this season, at premier league.

Xabi Alonso going to Real Madrid

It's really kind of a sad news for a Liverpool fan. Alonso's role was undeniably crucial for the success of Liverpool over the past years. Especially the last year. It was Alonso and his ability to connect the players from the deep, that helped Liverpool get to the 2nd place in premier league, even in the absence of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.

But today, its kind of official that he will be sold to the Real Madrid for around a petty £30 Million. I think a player is not bigger than the club and its legacy. But what I know, its going to be a really challenge to fill in the gap, he is going to leave.

I wish him all the best for his career. He is one non-English player, whose departure from Liverpool will leave the fans sad. He has had his bad patches. But he definitely is a gem now. I still remember, that people used to refer Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso as the best midfield pair in Europe.

Now we have to bring in Aquilani or Steven Defour.

Beckham scores on a free kick against Barcelona

No one can deny the beauty of his free kicks. Apart from all he is. and his phenomenon. This free kick against Barcelona, tells us he is a legend footballer. that was a pure touch of perfection for me. Watch and get lost in its serenity.

Wenger might get Vieira for this season

That is not something new, since the Gunner's are struggling with their midfield options. They really do need some one strong in the midfield. Only name i can recall is Fabregas. Since the departure of Hleb. I didn't see any greater impact of the midfield of Arsenal.

Redknapp is also after Vieira. Let's see, who can get him back to Premier League.

This season's transfer market is really hot.

Rafa Benitez going for David Villa ??

I just got to read this news here at The Sun. Okay for an instance I had to stop and think, that is it possible?

Looking at it with the news i have read in the past few weeks. David Villa rejected the bids from Real Madrid, and Barcelona. I guess these two clubs are the big ones right now. But he rejected it. It seems he is really loyal to Valencia. And that is a good sign.

But I thought of another angle to it, I dont know how much its possible. What if Villa, don't wanna join any other Spanish Club, due to his loyalty to Valencia ??

Rafa, is going to use the money, he will get by the sale of Xabi Alonso. Seems logical. Well lets hope this happens somehow. Would be awesome for liverpool.
